As the largest apparel and textile manufacturer in South Asia, the conglomerate required a single SAP System that would drive common standards across its business units including MAS Intimates, MAS Active, Bodyline and Linea Aqua via harmonized system processes and information flows.

  • Multiple SBUs, legal entities and plants running siloed versions of SAP AFS; implemented at various intervals, varying configuration and customization
  • A rapidly growing organization with need to consolidate, drive synergies across SBUs and harmonize processes
  • Changing business needs and demands for agility (existing implementations done nearly 10 years prior)
  • Strategic initiative to drive lean principles

  • Facilitate integration of MAS entities with the value chain, from customers, logistics providers and suppliers via end-to end, online, and real time integration of information and data
  • Increase ease-of-use and automation - enabling better control, reduction of costs and more effective time-saving processes
  • Leverage a single platform to enable both the management of MAS and all system users to drive operational excellence

  • Harmonized solution rolled out across 8 countries with nearly 5000 users covering SD, MM, Finance, PP, QM and plant maintenance
  • Up to 95% standardized processes across the SBUs
  • Custom developed apps for production status reporting, shop floor management, mobility
  • Technologies covering SAP AFS 6.5, SAP BI, PLM, BPM, BObj, IP, .net, iOS and Android
  • Replaced multiple internally developed tools on Excel and other peripheral tools
