It allows insights into operational retail data, empowering users with contextual, real-time information for faster and better decision making. To help ease the transition from SAP AFS to S/4HANA Fashion, the attune team was involved in the development of a Migration Cockpit.
And for accounts not ready to make the move yet, attune has identified several key initiatives that can help ensure an AFS system is capable of meeting changing business requirements and remains efficient.

SAP S/4HANA Single Tenant Edition (STE)
A cloud offering from SAP where the application is provisioned to a single-customer in a dedicated landscape. STE offers the full scope of S/4HANA and the same functionality as an on premise deployment due to identical code lines. The first-ever Single Tenant Edition deployment of SAP S/4HANA for Fashion and Vertical Business was delivered by attune for one of their clients.
Advanced Available-to-Promise (aATP)
A functionality directly embedded within SAP S/4HANA Fashion, designed to streamline order fulfillment, improve customer satisfaction and increase profitability. It provides a response to order fulfillment inquiries in Sales and Production Planning, which consist of required materials and plants, as well as their respective requested quantities and dates.
The result of the ATP check is based on the current stock situation and any future, anticipated or planned stock receipts and takes concurrent orders into account. Furthermore, additional restrictions based on any other order attributes (like region or customers) can be applied. The ATP function generates confirmation proposals for the requested material and plant, including confirmed quantities and dates.
Stock Protection via Product Allocation on Advanced ATP
Fashion companies and vertical businesses often sell through a multitude of channels. However, not all the orders are placed at the same time. Important customers may place orders late, therefore it is important to protect stock for them. SAP S/4HANA Fashion and Vertical Business offers a powerful and integrated stock protection mechanism to ensure that fashion companies do not run the risk of losing their most valuable customers.
Stock Protection works by prioritizing demand plans during the sales cycle. Unforeseen issues, such as increased demand, can lead to critical situations in order processing, which ideally should be prevented before they arise. In such cases, fashion companies must prioritize customers, channels, or markets, to ensure that the most important customers are served first. Stock protection helps companies achieve this goal by protecting inventory for high priority demand even if important sales orders are received late and low priority orders precede them.
