1. Introduction

This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) explains how attune Consulting (collectively, “we” and “us”), treat the information that is collected when you visit the websites to which this policy is linked (collectively, “Websites“). The term “Websites” includes all subdomains of Websites and any content, code, data, services, features or functionality made available from or through the Websites. It explains the types of information we collect regarding users of the Websites and how we may use that information so you can make an informed decision about whether to view the content and/or use the services on the Websites.

This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect via the Websites however accessed and/or used, whether via personal computers, mobile devices or otherwise (“Device”). This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and subject to the Websites’ Terms of Use. Each time that you access or use the Websites, you agree that you have read, understand and agree to be bound by the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy and you expressly consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your information, including without limitation, Personally Identifiable Information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, “Personally Identifiable Information” or “PII” is information that we can use to identify or contact you as an individual, and includes your name, email address, address, telephone number and any other information that we associate with any of the foregoing.

If you do not agree to the Terms of Use and this Privacy Policy, you must discontinue using the Websites and all services and features therein.

2. The Subscription Service

Our Subscription Service allows any company or individual that uses it to receive information about attune, and to learn more about the company, as well as download content, and provide their contact information and other demographic information. This information, which is stored and managed on our service providers' servers, is then used so that the visitors can be contacted about their interest in our services and interact with the company.

3.Information That is Collected.

 (a) Information You Provide To Us.

Personal Information. When you a submit your information on certain pages of our Websites that may require registration for downloadable content, webinar or event,  or other electronic services such as subscribe to receive newsletters, or send us an email or feedback, you may be asked to provide PII such as your e-mail address, name, phone number, address, job title and company name and we (or third party service providers on our behalf) will collect such information as well as any other content you provide us.

 (b) Information Collected As You Access and Use the Websites

In addition to any PII or other information that you choose to submit to us, to provide you with services and content that are more customized to your interests, we and our third-party service providers may use a variety of technologies (including cookies, Flash cookies, web beacons and embedded scripts) (“Tracking Technologies”) that automatically or passively collect information when you visit or interact with the Websites (the “Usage Information”). This Usage Information may include, without limitation, the browser that you are using, your IP address (“Identifier”), the URL that referred you to our Websites and all of the areas within our Websites that you visit. We may use Usage Information for a variety of purposes.

Usage Information gathered from your use of the Websites may be combined with information from third party sources to identify your location by state and region. More specific Usage Information may be collected for certain Websites (“Geolocation”), as set forth below.

Some of the more common Tracking Technologies used to collect Usage Information include, without limitation, the following:

  a. Cookies

We use "cookies" to help you personalize your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a Web server. Cookies are not used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by a Web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you. One of the primary purposes of cookies is to provide a convenience feature to save you time. The purpose of a cookie is to tell the Web server that you have returned to a specific page. For example, if you personalize pages on our Websites, or register for the Subscription Service, a cookie helps us to recall your specific information on subsequent visits. When you return to the same Website, the information you previously provided can be retrieved, so you can easily use the customized features.

You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to fully experience the features of our website. In any case, we keep track of the subdomains and pages you visit within our website, in order to determine what portion of the Website is the most popular or most used. This data is used to deliver customized content and promotions within the Website and via our Subscription Service to customers whose behavior indicates that they are interested in a particular subject area.

  b. Log Files

We may collect demographic information, such as your ZIP code, age, gender, preferences, interests and favorites using log files that are not associated with your name or other personally identifying information. There is also information about your computer hardware and software that is automatically collected by us. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring website addresses. This information is used by attune for the operation of the Subscription Service, to maintain quality of the Subscription Service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of our Website. For these purposes, we do link this automatically-collected data to Personal Information such as name, email address, address, and phone number.

  c. Third Party Tracking Technologies

We may acquire information from other trusted sources to update or supplement the information that you provided or we collected automatically, such as information to validate or update your address or other demographic information and lifestyle information. We use this information to help us maintain the accuracy of the information we collect, to target our communications so that we can inform you of products, services and offers that may be of interest, and for internal business analysis or other business purposes. We may also acquire information from other sources about your visits over time and across other third party web sites, in order to serve more targeted advertising to you on the Website(s). Those third parties have privacy policies that differ from this Privacy Policy.

4. How We Use and Share the Information Collected.

We use  information we collect from you in part to provide you with the content you have requested, to respond to inquiries, and send  information to you which we think may be of interest to you by email, or other means. We also use the information in connection with advertising and to serve other content, as described below.

We also use the information we collect and obtain about you to measure and improve our Websites, to customize certain features of the Websites, to deliver relevant content and to provide you with an enhanced experience based on the type of device you are using.

We may provide access to information, including PII, to certain vendors that are performing services on our behalf to other companies or individuals in the following situations:

(a) Marketing. We may combine and use any and all information we collect on you either online or otherwise, including from third parties, for marketing purposes, including sending you promotional emails regarding about our products and related content. If you have received a promotional email and do not want further emails about similar promotions or offers from us or, as applicable, the third party marketing partner, simply follow the unsubscribe instructions that are located at the bottom of those emails.

(b) Delivery of Advertising and Other Content. In addition to content that we serve you directly, attune may use third party advertising companies and marketing services to serve ads and other content when you visit the Websites and elsewhere on the internet and in other media. We also use analytics services supported by third party companies to perform analytics and track trends. We work with other third parties to provide certain functionalities on the Websites and to improve the effectiveness of the Websites and its content. Those third party companies may use Tracking Technologies to collect and store Usage Information about you and may combine this information with information they collect from other sources. If you access the Websites through a mobile device or app, we may also share your information with mobile carriers, operating systems and platforms.

To provide ads on the Websites, we use a variety of third party advertising service providers, including networks, data exchanges, ad servers, analytics providers and others. These third parties may use technology to send, directly to your Device, the advertisements and links that appear on the Websites. They automatically receive your Identifier when this happens. The third party service providers, as well as the advertisers themselves, may collect and use information about your visits over time and across the Websites and other third party web sites, as well as information received from other sources, in order to serve more targeted advertising to you on the Websites. Third parties may also use information gathered from your usage of the Websites to serve targeted advertisements to you on third party websites and applications. Google is one of the companies that we use to serve advertising and perform analytics on some of the Websites. We and third party vendors, including Google, use first-party cookies (such as the Google Analytics cookie) and third-party cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) together to help implement the above uses of your information. We also use Google Analytics along with audience data (such as age, gender and interests of users) to help understand users’ visits to the Websites and to optimize the content that we serve to users.

We do not control Tracking Technologies used by third parties, and their use may be governed by the privacy policies of the third parties employing the Tracking Technologies. You should consult the respective privacy policies of these third parties to see your options for opting out of their use of such devices.

5.Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time by posting a new version online. You should check this page occasionally to review any changes. If we make any material changes we will notify you by posting the revised Privacy Policy on our Website. This helps you to always be aware of what information we collect, how we use it and under what circumstances, if any, it is disclosed. Your continued use of the Websites, the Subscription Service, and/or continued provision of Personal Information to us will be subject to the terms of the then-current Privacy Policy.

6.Social Media Features

Our Website includes Social Media Features, such as the Facebook redirection, such as the Share This button or interactive mini-programs that run on our sites. These features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on our sites, and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. Social Media Features and Widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our Websites. This Privacy Policy does not apply to these features.  Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policy and other policies of the companies providing them.

7.External Websites

Our Website may provide links to other websites. We do not control, and are not responsible for, the content or practices of these other websites. Our provision of such links does not constitute our endorsement of these other websites, their content, their owners, or their practices. This Privacy Policy does not apply to these other websites, which are subject to any privacy and other policies they may have.

8.Retention of Personal Information

We retain Personal Information that you provide us as long as we consider it potentially useful in contacting you about the Subscription Service or our other services, and then we securely delete the information. We will delete this information from the servers at an earlier date if you so request, as described in "Opting Out and Unsubscribing" below.

9.International Transfer of Information

To facilitate our global operations, we may transfer and access Personal Information from around the world, including the United States. This Privacy Policy shall apply even if we transfer Personal Information to other countries.

You may unsubscribe from our marketing communications by clicking on the "unsubscribe" link located on the bottom of our e-mails.
